Four days, more than 80 sessions, and plenty of Java: JCON EUROPE 2026 brought the international Java community together at the Cinedom in Cologne from April 20–23. Now you can revisit many of the talks – with more recordings being released on the JAVAPRO YouTube Channel.
For four days in 2026, the Cinedom in Cologne was all about Java, modern software development, and the latest technology trends. The JCON EUROPE 2026 program featured workshops and more than 80 sessions, with Java Champions, open-source contributors, and experienced developers sharing their knowledge and expertise with the community.
The conference covered a broad range of topics from across the Java ecosystem – from modern Java architectures and frameworks to cloud native development, security, data processing, and artificial intelligence.
This year, a particular focus was placed on the combination of Java and AI. A dedicated AI track explored current developments and practical use cases, including AI-assisted coding, local models, Agentic AI, and the integration of AI into real-world Java applications. Topics such as data privacy, costs, sustainability, and the responsible use of AI in enterprise environments were also part of the program.
Time for Some Java Binge-Watching
With more than 80 talks and multiple tracks running in parallel, it was almost impossible to catch everything live. If you missed a session or couldn’t make it to Cologne, you can now catch up on a growing selection of talks online.
All keynotes and numerous session recordings from JCON EUROPE 2026 are already available on the JAVAPRO YouTube Channel, with more recordings being added regularly.
